Holiday Humour

To my fellow Canadians, Happy Victoria Day! Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday Monday. To the rest of you, I’m about to make a lame joke to help get you through your day.

Ready? Good.

Some background information before I tell the joke: Staples is an office supply store. You can buy paper, pencils, printers, and comfortable desk chairs. Got it? Good. Now to the joke. Someone better laugh.

What do you call someone who works at Staples?

A stapler.

What do you call someone who fires people who work at Staples?

A staple remover.

(Hold for laughs)

(Run away because no one is laughing)

More Staples humor. And what the heck is Victoria Day? You celebrate Queen Victoria? We need Canadian culture part 2.

    • Paul says:

Haha yeah we do! “When Queen Victoria died in 1901, Parliament made her birthday an annual holiday. The law initially called for the holiday to be celebrated every year on May 24. Unless the date fell on a Sunday, in which case Victoria Day would be celebrated on May 25”. It’s basically the 3rd Monday of every May now…known as May 2-4 weekend.
